OPI Nail Apps

Today I’ll show you a pack of nail stickers? That is at least what I choose to call them. Nail stickers or apps are by O.P.I, which immediately tells us that they are of good quality. They sit well and are long and they have a nice design. Package includes 16 “stickers”, so you have some extra in case you manage to destroy some or placing the completely wrong or the like. The OPI nail apps package comes with a good explanation of how to put them on and it’s very easy once you‘ve done it a few times. It lasts a long time, and it looks very nice and proffesional, at least in my opinion. As you will see I missed a bit when I put it on the little finger. Placed it a little too far to the left unfortunately, but it was the first one I put on so not quite mastered it yet, hehe. The stickers have bright colors and glitter. They are definitely a special detail that gets noticed when out in public. They are fun with a nail design that is definately out of the ordinary!

St Tropez Self Tan Lotion

This is a self tanning product from St.Tropez that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time. Have not had used it yet since it’s the middle of summer now, but really looking forward to testing it out. Have heard lots of good reports about it! ASTOR PERFECT STAY CONCEALER:

Love this concealer! Had never heard of the brand before, so was excited to try it. The consistency is very good and it’s really easy to both apply and smooth out. This has replaced my old concealer, clearly. Click Astor Perfect Stay Concealer to view and buy.

Here you see the color of the even browning on the left (it is of course not so dark when waxing it out then, ha ha) and concealer. Had to take to the sky as it was when the colors were most similar as they are in reality.

W7 SILKY BAKED BLUSH:

When I opened the package and saw the color of this blush, I must admit I was a bit skeptical. Soo much shimmer! You might think the same? Well, I tried it on the skin and then it was completely different. The color was weaker and they looked just a little shimmer, so you got a healthy glow on your face. URBAN DECAY LITTLE SINS EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION SET:

The last thing I’ll show you today is this Little Sins Eyeshadow Primer Potion Set from the famous brand Urban Decay. Must say I had pretty high expectations for these since they are from just the brand, but they were even better than I had hoped. They make eye shadow last twice as long, and this will be a good base so it is easier to apply fine shadows. They have slightly different colors, so then you can choose what you think fits the look. Chanel Lipstick

CHANEL LIPSTICK:

This lipstick gives a light pink color on the lips. It has a lot of shimmer and fits very well now for the summer. It looks very natural, but you can make it stronger by putting on several layers. I have the color 70 MONTEGO. The lipstick is long on the lips and is good to apply. URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW:

This is a metallic silver eyeshadow. It is fast and extremely well-pigmented. Color is strong and can easily blends out or with other colors. There is a lot of product, but it does not take much space in makeup folder. The shadow is easy to apply and sprinkles not very much, just a little. Ooog, wait for it ….. Below I have attached a picture which I have on both Chanel lipstick and Urban Decay eye shadow. Here is the silver eye shadow to the entire lid, but blends into a black color (which I already had) in the edge and global.

JEMMA KIDD CONCEALER:

This is an incredibly good concealer! It has a good opacity and is nice to apply. I used my finger, but it went just fine. Tried to brush too, and it worked well. It is a duoconcealer, so it has two shades. The right suit me fine, while the left is too light. Can still use this as a sort of highlight to open up the face. Very pleased with this product that is! SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN PALETTE:

This palette can only be described with one word: PERFECT. It has both shimmering and matte colors, all in natural tones. The colors are insanely pigmented and last for a long time! Struggled to get the most off with the makeup remover yes, haha. It has at least all the shadows you need to create a natural look. I love it! Was totally in love with the one time I tried it. And you – in addition to these fabulous eye shadows gets a black eyeliner and red lipstick! Johooo, I jump for joy! This is the everything you need, and it costs just a a few pounds. You must buy this, seriously. I am speechless. Could talked about this wonderful box for several hours, but think I’ll spare you that. Recommended!! Maybelline Color Sensational Lipsticks

MAYBELLINE COLOR SENSATIONAL LIPSTICKS

My first choice were these Maybelline Colorsensational Lipsticks and Popstick.  I recently reviewed the ‘Colorsensational Vivids’ collection and was eager to give these a try too.

Similar to the Vivids collection, the Maybelline Colorsensational range is extensive, I chose Purple Glam and Cherry Candy.  Both these lipsticks are highly pigmented and ultra moisturising on my lips, I am not disappointed.  The staying power is also pretty impressive, the colour lasting a good 2-3 hours without any touch up.  These are excellent for a subtle and chic day wear, without being garish.

Do you remember the sweeties – Refreshers?  I think that these smell like Refreshers, yum!

My favourite shade out of these is the Cherry Candy, It is a very nice pinky red which is right up my street.  Purple Glam is gorgeous too, I can’t complain – though I must admit – I do not have an extensive ‘purples’ collection.

The Crystal Pink Popstick smells like a strawberry lollipop, I could sit and sniff it for ages, however, it does not taste like a strawberry lollipop so I would not recommend licking it!  In fact, it has no particular flavour at all – I was a little disappointed.    There is no pigmentation to this product but I did find it moisturising – it gave a lovely crystalised sheen to my lips on application – I think it would work really well over one of the normal Maybelline Colorsenational lipsticks.

URBAN DECAY ROLLERGIRL PALETTE

This cute Rollergirl palette by Urban Decay was my second choice.  I chose the Urban Decay Rollergirl palette because having owned Urban Decay palettes before, I was already familiar with the quality eyeshadows that they produce, this little gem is no exception.

Stunningly packaged with a 60s themed roller disco on the front, this miniature compact is home to 4 beautiful eyeshadows, 24/7 glide on eyeliner and Urban Decay Lip Junkie lipgloss – it also provides a good sized mirror.

Each of the individual eyeshadows are very pigmented – a little goes a long way.

Woodstock – is your bright colour, a foxy fuchsia which is so much fun to play around with.

Neutrals

Dark Horse – is a rich velvety brown which is perfect to create that smokey eye

Verve – I would describe as a light mocha

Suspect – is your beautiful gold

Every one has a subtle hint of shimmer which is perfect for day or night.  I am really pleased with the selection.  The the darker shades are very similar to those you would find in the Naked Palette.

Urban Decay Lip Junkie lipgloss – is a very bright shade of pink.  I find it quite thick and a little sticky but still wearable.  Personally I am more of a lipstick gal but if you are a lip gloss fan you will not be unhappy with this, you could make it work for you.

Lastly, I was really pleased to see the Urban Decay 24/7 glide on eye pencil  – really good value for money.  This eye pencil is so easy to work with, it does what it says, literally glides on to the eye with ease.
